BATMAN
Before the resurrection of the late eighties with the various Tim
Burton, Joel Schumacher, Christopher Nolan, George Clooney, Val
Kilmer, Michael Keaton and Heath Ledger (someone would have
gladly avoided), Batman was very different.
He went around with a grey and old-fashioned suit, black pants, down
foes with strokes of "POW!" "BANG!""Slam." And Near him was a colorful
and gay Robin. Everything was more comical, clown-like, cartoonish and
colorful. Ingredients that gave birth to a legendary TV series.
In addition to the serial, but is less known, there is a movie
overshadowed by the most famous and recent feature films: "Batman The
Movie" of 1966. A film that marks the debut of Batman in the movie,
even if before it there were two series, live action, 1943 and 1949.
The film, shot by the director Martison, was made during the break
betweem two TV series, and it all the elements and the whole cast seen
on TV.
Same actors and above all the Batman's enemies. Joker, the Riddler,
Penguin, Cat-Women who make up the of Association "United
Underworld" that tries to conquer the world and destroy Batman and his
trusty Robin, played of course by Adam West and Burt Ward.
The object of desire is a Dehydration ray stolen by the evil group
during its transport by sea. It's up to Batman to put things right. And
the man as usual shows great cunning and sudden stroke of genius worthy
of a Nobel. A shoulder to him cursing and Robin thinks cricket
brilliant speaker.
As already said is the funny side to lord it, giving a final gag, very
clownish with our two heroes who do not claim it all as they should
have. There are many licenses narrative, such as not recognizing people
just because they wear a mask, and kitsch objects as: are
bat-belt, the bat-helicopter, bat-car and bat-sidecar too!
Despite the craziness Bruce Wayne remains the same or almost he is a playboy millionaire.
It 'nice to get lost in this pop movie wiht bright colors. A real gem
for connoisseurs and for us, with all due respect to Burton and Heath
Ledger, it inspires us more affection then the various blockbuster
of the batman new deal.
