Let's
start by saying that this "The Casino Job" can be considered the female
version of "Ocean's Eleven", because with the saga of Soderbergh, who
was inspired by the film with Sinatra, as is well known, this share two
elements: the beauty and a robbery at a casino.
We continue by saying, it's easy to understand, there are neither Clooney nor Pit or a really big budget. In
their place, however, there are several female figures, that we, for
obvious reasons, prefer at the place of the two stars of "Hollywood."
And it's all about the girls, of course, that this film relies, leaving to the plot and to the technique a marginal space. Produced
by "Robin Hood Films" a company of Nevada (they played at home!),
saying that they would help filmmakers and want to treat them as they
would want to be treated, even when they were not part of a company. Anyone
can submit a own idea, finishing among the many productions, horror,
comedy and action that the company of Christopher Hood produced in
these thirteen (if we understand it) years.
In
the case of this film we can say and suggest that this open minded
policy is not always good and that it was better to ignore this idea.
But
the culprit of all this is the CEO Chris Hood, who signed with the
addition of a Robin between first and last name, the direction and also the
script.
Having
said all this it is clear that "The Casino Job", taken from the beauty
of the stars, is a film that wastes what could have been an interesting
version of an old idea, to make a story that after a while bored and
finds easy solutions easy in the direction and in the development
The
girls who works as stripper, plan a vengance against Barry
Kaylin a successful entrepreneur and owner of four casinos. They, with the help of two employees suceeds steal the money at the casino.
But
it is all too easy and the inevitable hitches are scarcely credible and
organized to put in front of the viewer other soft-core scenes.
The
cast is notable (for skill certainly, not for other!), for the Russian
Irina Voronina model and actress, who has starred in several horror and
comedy as well for a well known calendar and advertising for two well-known American companies.
