John Rambo and his incredible
adventures beyond human possibility in a world that rejects him, are
really nothing compared to the ones created by "Jet Director"
Çetin İnanç .
Three years before to plagiarize the second chapter of the hero played
by Stallone, the turkish director created a more discrete movie on the
plot of the first episode of the serie, showing another example of
turkish autarchy, with " Vahsi Kan" which literally translated in
English it sounds like "Wild Blood" .
The great fantasy of İnanç that we have seen in other works and
the chronic lack of resources, puts us in front of the usual terribly
funny and terribly trashy movie, but able to use a wide range of film
genres .
Cüneyt Arkin, saw in the great "Dünyayi Kurtaran Adam", is
the hero/star of a movie lost between many genres: adventure melodrama,
bikexplotation, zombies, martial arts and with a surprising little
moment of eroticism
The hash of İnanç this time, it’s a story that apart from
very funny moment, is enjoyable to follow and with great attention due
to never miss one of the many nuances present.
The beginning is already unsettling, a car with a man, a boy and a
woman is beset by a series of vicious paramilitaries, who pretend to be
(or are they really? Who Knows!) zombies and kill the man, the child
and try to rape the woman. At the same time there there is a convoy
that is transporting a dangerous prisoner in court, Riza, our Rambo.
Attacked, massacred, Riza manages to escape and after being beaten by a
gang of bikers who he mets by chance, he began his adventure in the
forest like Rambo.
And that's where he found the girl of the beginning, who is protagonist
of the erotic scene . No, she don’t have sex with Riza, who
doesn’t seem interested at all, but she shows a tit while bathing
in the river.
As in the original story, Riza is hunted by a series of very bad people
sent by Hasmet who wants revenge, because he said, "Rambo", have caused
a serious impairment to his son. Hasmet, played by Hüseyin Peyda,
a villain of turkish cinema, also seen in " Dünyayi Kurtaran
Adam", is one of those local bosses all money, girls (incredibly ugly)
and melodramatic love for his son. The latter is instead a psycho in a
wheelchair who also uses the finest gimmick of the whole movie, an
explosive that he can starts by leaning back in his chair that
doesn’t hit him and doesn’t cause the shock wave .
Hasmet and his son are at beginning backed by the local community that
believes them blindly , but then their lies, and especially the desire
for justice of the Rambo of the Bosphorus, change the things..
Compared to "Korkusuz" played by bodybuilder Serdar Kebabçilar
here the muscles are much less and the big star Cüneyt Arkin plays
most with magnetic eyes and cunning, even when he is fighting. Moments
in which the film is sped up to give a more dynamic way to all .
No doubt about it: this is a nice chapter of cinema, made by a director who doesn’t miss a beat.
