The Pig Keeper's Daughter
"Talk about the Pig Keeper's Daughter (...) She is a queen / She is a bitchy queen."
The catchy opening song reminds us that here talking about the daughter
of the keeper of pigs which has an aptitude for sex stories. To put it
nicely.
And the film is all here. And it is perhaps the most famous hillbilly
episode (with "Country Cuzzins") by Bethel Buckalew and surely, in
its way, the most successful. We must admit: Buckalew and of course
Harry H. Novak knows how to make a bad erotic movie with a plot that
justifies the many sex scenes. They know how to choose the actors and
actresses (there isn't strangely Rene Bond but there are the beautiful
meteors Gina Paluzzi and Terry Gibson) and above they are able to
accomplish what seems to be a record, a couple of sex scenes that last
thirteen minutes each.
A poor Russ Meyer's aura, as there is the bucolic setting and there are big tits, completes the features of this 1972 movie.
The story is about a small rural American town. We find Jasper
“the beauty" who wants to have sex with Moonbean, which, however,
wants to preserve her purity. Then there's the daughter of "Pig Keeper"
Pretty Patty who with Jasper has sex many times, while dreaming that
one of his pigs transform into a prince. And there's a door to door
salesman, addicted to sex, who had sex with a hitchhiker with the
prosperous mother of Pretty Patty and finally with the same.
Not bad at all are the opening credits similar to other works by the
director, there is a nice soundtrack but about other aspects there is
very little to say. Better to listen again the opening song.
