The
failure like success, leading to get a big head. Our Lory Del Santo the
queen of trash 2.0, places a bit of plot in the first episode of the
second series "The Lady". Not happy she creates a character called Zora
(like the well-known vampire) and hires the famous Italian comedian
Maccio Capatonda.
Between ass and tits someone steals the bag to The Lady, hacks her
computer and sends her business in crisis. It’s Zora. A blonde
(un)dressed in black who claims to be the real Lady, who wants to
dethrone Lona, lying in skimpy clothes in an abandoned place with her
minions who fight (so to speak) each others.
A turning point a bit dangerous. The success of "The Lady" is given by
its idiocy and to the empty concepts and characters. Put a story could
be dangerous. It might be overworking the viewer that really
appreciates it (assuming they exist, as they said for the first series)
to fall out of love the trash’s lovers.
But there is no problem. From the second episode all comes back to be
like always. Nothing happens and The Lady walks around thinking and
following her business, smelling vaguely that something does not go
right. Zora says some "philosophical" sentences and Maccio Capatonda
get angry and we don’t know why.
Instead it grows in us the suspicion that everything is deliberately
trash and here, more than in the first series, we have the suspect.
From the presence of Maccio Capatonda, to pass by the arrival of the
son of Chang and ending with a series of surreal scenes that seems too
self-mocking. A woman of a certain age would have sex with a
photographer to let her daughter work and a model discarded from the
set goes around naked, shocking a child that meets her on a beach.
The team that wins does not change and Del Santo repeats the entire
collection of ridiculous characters seen in the first series. Plus adds
a little 'of "freak" among drag queens, transvestites and who knows why
a gay character who always dresses badly. Good phrases for trivial
Facebook post are redundant and dialogues reach intellectual poverty
points never seen before.
But it must be said that Lory Del Santo, plan in advance. First episode
with a huge numbers of viewers and good results in the other, with a
final that announce that soon will come also "The Lady 3". If Del Santo
is smart, she knows that then she has to stop.
