It’s time that history recognizes that the great classics of literature have been written for someone who did a porno or erotic version. Hey! It was a joke! We know that we speak about works that often were created even before the cinema and so let’s say this: the great classics were created for someone who then enjoying a porno or erotic version.
One that is better suited to the transposition is undoubtedly the Robert Louis Stevenson novel "The Strange Case of Mr.Jekyll and Dr.Hide” finished on film an infinite number of times. Among these there is also this erotic version that never appears in the pages dedicated to films based on the novel by Stevenson, and that it’s probably if not the only one of the rare hot versions.

Although there is a certain director Lee Raymond who did little or nothing in the cinema industry and was, as reported by IMDB also an aircraft pilot, build a film on this theme is really easy. It needs just to transpose Hide’s formulas in something erotic, something that transform him in a Jekyll crazy and perverted rapist. And so it just happens in this film of 1972. Rene Bond the star of the film welcomes us having sex on the couch with a man with mustache which then find in a store Hide’s formulas. He turns into a crazy maniac who rapes and kills several women, and on which the police investigate. We see a long carousel of soft-core scenes heterosexual and lesbian as good sexploitaiton, before the classic final.
Typical product of the time, simple, and a bit 'boring, but no doubt with a good cast that stands out for the aforementioned Rene Bond and Laurie Rose famous actress at the time that for several internet sites would now be a belly dancer named Mesmera. A mystery, almost as much as the Hide formula ended on film thanks to those two rascals producers Byron Mabe and David F.Friedman.
