The dreadful statement by  Costantino Vitagliano, "I think I shall see it for ever, but I also think a lot of other people will do ..." that defines this film "immortal", is beaten only by the incredible comparison to "Poveri Ma Belli" by Dino Risi, whose characters seem to have been a source of inspiration for Dani and Costa. Costantino Vitagliano and Daniele Interrante are two popoular characters of italian commercial television, teenager's idols and other silly things.

"Troppo Belli" (can be translated with "Too Much Beautiful") is their only movie (for goodness sake!) made in 2005, and wrote by Maurizio Costanzo, a popoular italian journalist, by his wife Maria De Filippi and by Lele Mora a sinister manager.

This says it all about "Troppo Belli" and we could stop here, leaving them in their blind belief.

But this film has become a part of history, entering in the Top 100 worst movies according to the website IMDB. So it deserves a review.

It's a rare case of a trash movie that instead of arousing sympathy, leads us to consider even more hateful protagonists, it has the arrogance to sell itself as a great film, strong of two million euro (so it seems) of budget, driven by the usual gang, Costanzo-De Filippi-Mora, who created  pseudo myths for people.

To read the statements and interviews, it seems that everyone knew that this is  a real "b movie" and that they had all the answers prepared for a vigorous defense.

"And for the guyd I can tell you that despite the easy controversy easy I remind you that the cinema of the sixties was all done by people who came from the street," said the director Giordani, who pointed out "The film is really an "instant movie" that was written in three weeks and prepared in two, and we shot it in five ..."

The comedies of the sixties should be the starting point, the model of "Troppo Belli". The tale of the good and beautiful boys that hard work and despite some problems gain a fame.

In our case, Constantino and Daniele are two guys "myths" of their neighborhood, dreaming (especially the second one, the other follow) to break into the entertainment world. They are ensnared by Valeria deceives them and entrusted them to his father a manager, who steals several money. But the youngest daughter, Michela, who by dint of hairdressing and waxing becomes beautiful and that has always been in love with Constantino,  find for the two job, make them make peace (because in the meantime they had quarreled), put the lie to his father and as the ultimate prize is gets the Constantino's heart.

Success, consent, they all lived happily.

Needless to mention bad acting or directing. One can easily imagine. And in defense of acting both say "I have to play myself, if I can not even be myself ... gotta study  me to do the same in the movies? ... ". The problem obviously is in the character.
